“The War Between God’s Word and Man’s Mouth”

There’s a tension I’ve wrestled with for years. Not the rejection of God Himself, but the rejection of how His words have been altered by the hands and tongues of men.

History is full of examples — kings, priests, leaders — using holy text to justify their greed, their conquest, their hatred. They lace their will into the words of God and call it divine truth. But the truth does not need their approval. It does not need their signature.

So I ask myself:

Do I question the word of God? Or do I question man’s interpretation of God’s word?

The first is rebellion against Heaven.

The second is rebellion against corruption.

My faith is not blind obedience to those who hold the book. My faith is in the One who wrote it.

And if my path means fighting through centuries of distortion to find His voice, then I will fight.

Because I do not follow the echo. I follow the source.
